Suddenly we realized that all of us were tired of people around us. These people were noisy, with their problems and demands, and, besides, there were too many of them. When we realized the degree of our fatigue with people, we understood simple but true fact: people were not going anywhere from a resort town. On the contrary, their number would be bigger, and their noise would blow up our tired heads. We were upset that our vacation would not be a vacation at all, but the solution was found in a matter of hours. A good friend of my father rescued us. It so happened that he and his family had wanted to go to the beach for a long time, but in this case, no one would be able to look after their house, which was located near the forest. Therefore, a friend of my father and his family went in resort town instead of us, and we were going to live in their house for some time.
The house located in few yards from the forest, so we were able to enjoy nature every day. We lived in the peaceful and quiet atmosphere due to the fact that other houses were located closer to civilization. We spend a lot of time in the improvised garden, roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. My younger sister was upset that she could not swim in the sea, but I found out that there was a forest lake with clean and clear water. Although the water was colder than seawater, it did not spoil our fun. This summer vacation also was gadgets-free as we took with us only father’s phone due to the fact that sometimes he had to consult his subordinates. We had an opportunity to spend our summer vacation with each other, not with our phones or tablet РСs.
I must confess that I even did not want to leave this place and felt in love with the atmosphere of the quiet forest, fresh air and bright stars in the night sky. If I will have an opportunity in future to repeat this vacation, I will do it with pleasure as sometimes you just need to rest not only from the daily problems of life but also from people and cities too.
